October Update

September was probably our busiest month thus far. We began our month in Argentina on our Survey Trip. We had an amazing opportunity to survey 3 of the 5 largest cities in the country. God so gripped our hearts for the people of Argentina. Everywhere we went there were city streets filled with lost souls who had never heard the Gospel. We had the opportunity to visit several Catholic churches during the week and see first hand the worship of an empty religion which grips most of the country and greatly influences the culture. The need of the Gospel is so great in every part of this beautiful place. We were able to be with Missionary Patrick Henry in Lanús, Buenos Aires, Argentina (Southern Zone of Metro Buenos Aires) who planted his first Church on Easter of this year, the Iglesia Bautista Fe or the Faith Baptist Church. It was truly a wonderful experience to be a part of the this new work that is already seeing people trust Christ as their Savior, being discipled, and beginning to serve Him in their local Church.

Due to hurricane Irma we had to cut our trip short by a few days to fly back to Miami to get our van before the city was hit by the storm. We arrived back safely before the storm and evacuated Florida with several million other people which didn’t help our travel time at all. Gas and lodging were very scarce but God provided for us the entire way. Praise the Lord!

After arriving home Irma hit our house in Georgia near the South Carolina border and we lost power due to the wind damage. The power was out for about a week but we had a Missions Conference to be at in Mississippi so it was out when we left. The Locust Grove Baptist Church in New Albany MS, with Pastor Doug Horton, graciously allowed us to come over a day early to have a place to stay with power.

Ever since then we had not been home traveling from Conference to Conference in VA, CT, & WV. We start off October in a Missions Conference in Athens GA and travel to several other meetings in GA, OH, CA, & AL before the month is through. Thank you for your constant prayers and support for our family as we seek to reach the world for Christ from Argentina.
